The brand

 Rue Monsieur was our first showroom location in Paris. That is where everything began.


Did you know that “Monsieur” was a title of nobility? Under the Ancient Regime, the title “Monsieur” was a designation for the younger brothers of the King of France, who was the eldest brother.


This emblematic street “Rue Monsieur”, pays tribute to Monsieur Le Prince, the King’s brother. Thus our name Rue Monsieur Paris.


Exceptional pieces, both aesthetic and highly functional, were crafted using natural materials. Contemporary design employing noble techniques, such as marble marquetry, wood marquetry, lacquered painting, brass, and shagreen, distinguishe the RUE MONSIEUR PARIS collections.


Marjan Maximilian’s furniture creations, evoke mid-20th century British sculpture and Op Art in their monolithic and hybrid forms.
